Some advice for a year abroad

Here are my 8 tips for a successful DUETI in Croatia.

Do not stay constantly with French-speaking students, speak with other students and local people. This will allow you to improve your language skills and discover new cultures.

Still focus on your lessons. Despite the many trips and parties available to you this year, you must not forget that you are a student.

Order a multi-currency bank card (Revolut, N26, ...) to be able to withdraw cash from ATMs abroad without charge.

Review your English lessons before you leave. Good command of English is the key to your integration into the ERASMUS group.

Don't forget to bring warm clothes with you. You never know, the weather can sometimes surprise us.

Try to find a collocation with Croatian students. Living with local people is the best way to experience the culture of the country.

Maintain contact with your friends who have stayed in France.
