Come thrift with me in Pula

I have always been a fashion aficionado, I loved shopping in big stores such as Zara, H&M, Mango, ...
The problem with the textile industry today is that it causes us to consume compulsively. We pile up clothes at light speed, while they go out of fashion just as quickly. No wonder the simple fact of getting dressed has become a real headache. We all also know that the fashion industry is very polluting. What is more, the majority of ready-to-wear boutiques don't care about offering us poor quality toxic clothing. It’s the price war!
It was my ecological conscience that radically changed my mind about three years ago: I realized all the benefits of such consumption. This is how thrift stores became my HQ for shopping. There is no discussion of losing these good habits once in Croatia. Here are my favorite thrift stores from Pula:

Retro Chic

This thrift store is located in the center of the city, between the Pula market and the theater.
You can find women's clothing and shoes, bags, a large selection of different scarves, jewelry for all ages and all tastes. You can also find clothes from famous designers (currently Dolce Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Jil Sander, etc.) as well as brand clothing (Nike, Adidas, Puma, ...) and ball and wedding outfits.

2 âœ‹shop

This thrift store is located 100 meters from the amphitheater.
Certainly, the smell is not tempting and we are tight. But unlike most inexpensive thrift stores, it is a small thrift store in which you feel particularly good and confident thanks to a very pleasant saleswoman.
You can find pieces with a real story, at very fair prices. This thrift store offers quality vintage items at low prices. Again in this vintage shop, "patience" and "digging" are the key attitudes to have in order to find the rare pearl. Unfortunately, the store went bankrupt last February.  It is now closed.

Humana Nova

This thrift store is clearly the best in the city.
This is THE ultimate retro store. This thrift store offers a huge selection of Levi's jeans, shirts, leather jackets, and vintage shoes. The prices are more than affordable: everything is 10 kunas (= 1.32 €). Basically, here is the good plan for shopaholics and obsessive thrift hunters: whatever you buy, you will not spend enough to feel guilty.
