Since I was in high school I was attracted to go study abroad. Taking my independence, empowering myself was an obligation in my personal construction. I had often talked about it with my teachers who advised me to first find out what higher education was in France before leaving to study abroad.

 

My two years at IUT Paris Descartes really strengthened my desire to go and study abroad. 

During these two years, I accumulated a lot of pressure and stress. I lost a lot of weight, and the lack of sleep had a very bad impact on my health.
I really needed a whole year to disconnect from my daily reality, to have enough time to take stock of my life and my goals, and to get out of my environment.

I also decided to do a DUETI due to my professional aspirations: I would like to work in international purchases later. I intend to join the Master in Logistics and International Purchasing of IAE Gustave Eiffel after my year in Croatia.
I think that this year of ERASMUS can be a real asset to distinguish me from other candidates for this master, similarly the mastery of English is a skill required in order to integrate this Master.

 

The choice of a year abroad was therefore a real evidence for me.
